Compared to OEM, the price is more than reasonable. The grilles arrived undamaged and with some decent packaging.
Installation and fitment
This is your usual F3x kidney grill install, nothing special here. The black grilles installed perfectly, although lacking that satisfying snap. Fitment wise, the top section aligns well with the rest of the bumper, but the bottom part has me a little concerned: it's out of alignment just a little. It's not producing any sound/whistling, so I'm ok with it.
Impressions
I was able to compare these grilles to the OEM and there are differences. For one thing, the RW Carbon replicas are made from a much stiffer plastic than those of the OEM. The OEM grilles are flexible and give with moderate pressure while RW Carbon ones remain stiff. The replicas do creak a lot when pressure is applied, but it's not like you will be hearing anything at 70 mph. I see the stiffer plastic as a good thing since I have broken the tabs on OEM gloss black grilles just by simply uninstalling them.
However, the texture, color, and finish of the material is really up there. Overall, I think they are a good value for the money and would buy again.
